Meet Rooney

Rooney & Co. started with a simple idea. Dog gear shouldn't just look good. It should say something.

Rooney, our Miniature Pinscher, made that obvious from day one. Strong-willed, full of personality, and very clear about what she likes and what she doesn't. If you know, you know.

We couldn't find anything that matched that kind of personality. Everything felt generic. Same materials. Same colours. Nothing that actually captured the character of the dog wearing it.

So we built it ourselves.

Rooney & Co. creates leash sleeves designed around personality, not just function. Each design represents a distinct type of dog — confident, playful, food-driven, independent. The kind you recognize instantly.

While the sleeves may be worn by many dogs, what they represent is individual. Because no two dogs carry themselves the same way.

We're based in Toronto and just getting started. Our focus is simple: create products that feel personal, look clean, and actually reflect the dog at the end of the leash.

Giving Back

For every leash sleeve sold, $2 goes directly to Save Our Scruff — a Toronto-based rescue dedicated to pulling dogs from high-risk situations and finding them the homes they deserve.

We chose Save Our Scruff because they do the real work, right here in our city. Every purchase you make helps another dog get their shot. That felt like the right way to build this brand.
